From Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th February, the Mohammed VI Football Academy organised the 5th edition of its U19 International football Tournament.
Among the 12 teams that participated, the Mohammed VI Football Academy and Fath Union Sport, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord Rotterdam from the Netherlands, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad from Spain, Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais and Racing Club de Strasbourg from France, Académie Génération Foot from Senegal, Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht from Belgium and Rangers FC from Scotland.
AMF and FUS were the only representatives of Morocco. The tournament schedule was made up of four groups of three teams each, with the top two teams qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Because of its good reputation in Moroccan football training. The tournament has seen the presence of more than 50 European recruiters which KM GESTION SPORT is one of them, which exploits a strong interest on this event especially for the U19 youth category.
In order to strength its relations as a football agency, KM GESTION SPORT presented by its manager Angel RODRIGUEZ was able to accompany throughout the tournament several participating Spanish teams and expand its national and international network with scouts of clubs like Benfica, At. Madrid, Barcelona etc., to promote local and foreign talents, especially for the U19 category which is of major importance in the work system of #KMGESTIONSPORT agency.
The Mohamed VI Academy has been attracting interest since the advent of several of its young players at the European level such as the Moroccan internationals En-Nesyri, Ounahi or Aguerd to mention only them.
Yesterday, the tournament was closed by the victory of the Académie Génération Foot (1st prize) from Senegal against Fath Union Sport (FUS of Rabat) (2nd place) with a goal in the last moments (1-0).
Third place went to the French club Racing Club de Strasbourg who beat the Mohammed VI Academy of Football for a score of (3-2).
